    Takeaways? A very genuine connection to a recent episode. A pitch that ties into recent conversations the host is having. Talking about the value to his listeners. Finding other guests of his show that I’ve gotten reviews from and using those to show that 1. I took the time to research it and 2. I’m already validated by his peers. The results?

  2. A Launch team that actually leaves reviews: People are busy! One way I got my launch team to honor their commitment to the team was to follow up from the original email they sent to sign for the team when asking for a review after the book launched.

  3. Free Reader Seeding Works: Don’t write off sending your book to people for FREE that match your reader profile. Find them on LinkedIn and Instagram and ask them if they’d like a free copy! Here’s a message we got back after sending a free copy of a clients book. Again, most of book marketing is putting yourself in a position to get lucky.
