This is the 2nd episode where we have Doug Evans, author of The Sprout Book. Previously, we discussed the concept of sprouting and its health benefits. Now, we’re going to take a look into what made it so successful to reach the 10th printing using grassroots marketing efforts from sending physical copies and dm strategy on Instagram.

Doug started from 2,000 to 3,000 followers on IG, driving 3 hours each way to record interviews for podcasts, using Linkedin outreach to reach a bigger audience, and essentially being fearless in the approach of marketing his book. We explored his strategy on TikTok as well as how he managed to get 1000 of reviews for his book without soliciting.

This is a great listen for those who have not yet started on advertising and would like to see what are the options in a more organic approach.
