BTB33: The Qat Wanders Story, former circus performer turned author and 7-figure self-made businesswoman

Before the Bestseller

Oh my god you must meet today’s guest, Qat Wanders. She’s one of my all time favorite people, bestselling fiction and non fiction author of over 80 books, 7 figure business owner, and used to work in the circus. Yes, you heard that right.

We were introduced a while back by a fellow connection but nothing came of it. I was listening to one of my favorite shows, The Self Publishing School Podcast with Chandler Bolt and she was a guest. I was like, that name sounds familiar, I had no idea that’s who I was talking to…she’s amazing…I must talk to her.

So I reached back out and this time it resulted in a longer conversation.

In this episode we go deep into the world of editing and clear up what different types of editing mean, how she goes about picking her genres to write in, and we also get incredibly vulnerable and talk about the entrepreneurial burnout she experienced which I personally resonated so much with since my burnout last November and how’s she’s moving forward in life professionally and personally.
