BTB31: Successful Self-Publishing | Joanna Penn

Before the Bestseller

Joanna Penn and Indie publishing go together like sunshine and solar panels. If you can’t tell, I just made that up. Joanna Penn was early to the indie publishing game and has benefited greatly from the early belief that it was the future.

She has over 30 books in multiple pen names both fiction and nonfiction, runs the highly adored TheCreativePenn.com blog, and has possibly the longest running podcast on indie publishing with over a million downloads, The Creative Penn Podcast.

Obviously Joanna is an incredibly popular author but it’s also been a dream of mine to interview Joanna ever since I got into the world of publishing and so you’ll be able to tell that I’m just giddy with excitement throughout our interview.

In this episode we really get into the nuts and bolts of her author career.
